It's been awhile since I did a podcast! In preparing the written version of the podcasts, I came across the notes I put together about Harriet Beecher Stowe, but evidently I never finished the podcast.

As I read through them, I thought of how many Well-Educated Heart principles were incorporated in her life, so I thought, as you are gearing up for a new school year, it would be a perfect time to share her story.

So I finished writing it up...and here it is!

Although my children are now grown, with children of their own (one of whom loves WEMH), this story and many others make me realize how far our 'advanced' society has strayed from the values and strengths of good and wholesome family life and a serious focus on the proper development of children. Thank you VERY much...
