I spoke on 5 ways to tend to the inner kingdom of hearts.

(I recorded this before I flew out to Utah, so it's not the tweaked version I gave, but I've posted the transcript in the podcast notes as it was delivered at the conference. Not a ton of differences...just a little rearranging here and there.)

I know the topic of Islam and the Muslims is a touchy subject today. But we need to be informed. Beware of the 'single story.' I'm still weaving a lot of stories together for myself, but I hope I will add some thought for your consideration. We have members of our group who are Muslim. All faiths are welcome here.

Includes thoughts on mothers and their role in the nurturing of children. No wonder the Native-Americans didn't want to assimilate in the White Man's world.

I have been on a sad errand the last couple of weeks, but there have been many lessons for the heart that I felt to share with you.

Here we are at the end...or shall I say the beginning? Finally freedom has found a home and that light on the hill will spread out to the whole world. I never get tired of this story and I marvel at the Divine Hand that acted upon Columbus who never gave up until he accomplished his task. As we understand what was going on in the world at the time, we can see that had a new world not opened when it did, what may have been the outcome for humanity? Now the question--as we see the price paid for our freedom, what are we doing with it??
