Here is a story that was included in the revised Mother's Influence book. I didn't realize we had the old one still posted in Issuu! We'll get that corrected. It is also archived on the Month 1 page of Mother's University in the Listen section where you will find recordings of most of the rest of the book, thanks to Shelayne Richards.
In some ways I hesitate to share this story because it can be taken a wrong way. By sharing the story, I am not suggesting that if things have gone wrong in your home or marriage, it's because you weren't doing things right.
The message I hope you will catch is that a Woman's Influence is often subtle, but powerful. I believe men and women are divinely gifted in different ways that complement one another. And given to the mother in the home is the gift of being its heart and its nurturer.
